Charging your phone regularly is crucial to maintaining good battery performance. The more regularly your charger is found the better it gets in terms of battery performance. Many people make the mistake of not using the original charger provided by the smartphone company you purchased the phone from. It is essential to make sure that you only charge a phone with the adapter and USB cable or type C cable provided by your company. Using a different adapter or cable can affect your phone and phone battery in particular in many ways-

Charging the phone overnight is a common mistake which people usually make these days. Though most of the smartphones now have an overcharging protection of some kind, though they may not work in the way you expect it to work. For example, if your phone reaches the battery level of 100%, the overnight charging feature will instantly stop receiving power. However, when the phone naturally get down to say, 99%, the charging will start again.

Charging your phone frequently is good but doing so too frequently can be damaging too.
Therefore, it is always advised to charge the phone while you are awake. You can do so while-

Taking a shower.
Or while having a meal.
