Hey there, thanks for checking out this post of MJD Newsletter. The internet plays a very important role these days. Anything you do on the web needs internet until you get that thing offline. Almost 20,000,000 people browse the web daily followed by 8 new users every second.
How much time do you spend on the web?
An average person spends almost 6 years and 42 hours on the web and the internet. This is a significant number and it really would make a big impact if all the people together stopped using the internet even for a day! Imagine if there are so many internet users, then how many smartphone and PC users are there?
How has the internet usage increased after the coronavirus pandemic?
The number of internet users have increased to a great extent since the pandemic began. A lot of people started using the internet for many reasons back then. People started working from home, teachers started teaching from home while students started learning from home.
How to live a life without the internet?
Now let's get to the main point. Certainly, a day without internet would not make a great impact but a a week or a month would. However, let's start the journey of 'A day without the internet'.
What if the internet stopped working for a day?
As mentioned before, a day without internet would not make a big impact, however there would be a little change in your lifestyle for a day like:
You will not be able to connect with your friends and family.
You will not be able to browse the web at all.
Around 3.5 billion searches are made on Google are made every single day, which would not be made.
If you're alone in the quarantine, you won't be able to connect with the world.
And you won't be able to read this article as well :)
