1. Get enough sunlight in day time

Our body has a natural time clock which is known as the circadian rhythm. Getting Natural sunlight during the day helps keep your circadian rhythm run in it's natural way. Sunlight not only helps you get vitamin-D but also helps you keep your body charged and improves

day-time energy. Researches have proved that getting sunlight in day-time has helped a lot of people sleep better at night especially those who have insomnia.

2. Exercise in the morning

Exercise is one of the best ways to improve your sleep as well as health. It charges and heats up our body. It has been proved that people who exercise daily get to sleep better at night. It also helps reduce the symptoms of insomnia.

3. Don't use your phone at night

Electronic devices like phones, laptops and tablets emit blue-light which affects the production of melatonin or the sleep hormone. Melatonin production starts about 2-4 hours before we go to bed. It is advised to not use any electronic devices at this time. Staying in a dark environment at the night also helps in the production of melatonin.

4. Reduce long day-time naps

Short power naps are beneficial but long or irregular napping during the day can negatively affect your sleep. Do not sleep for more than 30 mins at day-time. If you start the habit of sleeping more at day-time, you may end up being sleepier in the day and charged up in the night.

5. Make a sleep pattern

Your body’s circadian rhythm functions on a set schedule. That means if you regularly sleep late, you may not get to sleep early in the next night either. Try to sleep and wake up at the same time everyday. This way your body will make a consistent sleep pattern which will make your sleep even better for sure.

6. Take a shower before going to bed

Taking a shower is yet another way to sleep better. Studies have proved that taking a shower just before sleep has helped millions sleep faster and better at night. Also, a relaxing shower cools down the body and helps reduce stress.
